Spiral LED Pendant Light Modern Hanging Fixture High Ceiling Atrium Chandelier Installation

A spiral LED pendant light solves a problem that flat fixtures cannot: in a high atrium the eye follows curves, and a spiral reads as movement from every level of the building. This fixture is built as a continuous aluminium spiral with an LED strip recessed along its inner face, so the light source is hidden and the visible form is a clean metal ribbon. The spiral is produced in modular arc sections that bolt together with concealed splices, which allows diameters from 800mm to 3000mm while still shipping through a standard service lift. LED strip and driver quality matter more than anything else at this height, so the specification calls for a 3000K strip rated at fifty thousand hours with a driver located in the ceiling void rather than inside the canopy. Suspension cables are individually adjustable, letting the installer correct for a slab that is rarely perfectly level.

Specified for hotel atriums, corporate headquarters, museum entrances and flagship retail voids where a vertical space needs a light element that reads from multiple floors. The spiral also works in stairwells and escalator wells, where its curve follows the circulation path. In double height residential voids the smaller diameters bring the same effect into a domestic scale, and restaurant mezzanines use the form above open staircases to connect two levels visually.

We model the spiral against the atrium section, then issue a layout drawing with diameter, drop, cable points and driver location. Custom options include an oval spiral for rectangular voids, a two colour finish with a brushed outer face and a painted inner face, dimmable DALI drivers for scene control, and a lowering winch where cleaning access is difficult.

Arc sections ship in foam lined crates with splice hardware in a labelled box. The LED strip is pre fitted and tested on each section, with connectors protected by caps. A layout drawing and cable schedule travel in the first crate, and each section is marked with its position reference so installation follows the drawing rather than trial fitting.

Lead time is 28 to 38 days after approval, with staged delivery for phased buildings. Strip and driver spares are supplied at two percent, drivers are stocked for five years, and commissioning notes cover dimming curves and driver addressing. Installation support by video call is offered for the first spiral assembly in a project.
