Custom Chandelier Installation

Product Description

This cluster multi light pendant fixture is specified where a hotel atrium needs warmth rather than sparkle: brushed brass elements on varying drops, grouped so the cluster reads as a cloud of light rather than a chandelier. The brass is spun and hand finished, which gives each element a subtle directional grain that flat plated metal does not have, and the finish is lacquered to protect it during the cleaning cycles a hotel atrium requires. Elements are supplied in three diameters with internal LED modules and opal diffusers, so the light is soft and free of glare when viewed from the atrium floor twelve metres below. Suspension is by cable from a shared canopy ring, with each cable length set at the factory to the layout drawing and fine adjusted on site with a concealed gripper.

Key Features
  • Spun Brass Elements: Elements are spun and hand finished, giving a directional grain that plated flat metal cannot reproduce, then lacquered for the cleaning cycles a hotel atrium demands
  • Cloud Composition: Mixed element diameters on varying drops group into a broad cloud of light rather than a chandelier, which suits wide atrium ceilings better than a single feature
  • Opal Diffused Output: Internal LED modules behind opal diffusers keep the light soft and glare free when viewed from the atrium floor twelve metres below
  • Factory Set Cable Lengths: Cable lengths are set to the layout drawing at the factory and fine adjusted on site with concealed grippers, so the cloud shape survives installation
  • Shared Canopy Ring: A single canopy ring carries all elements, reducing the number of ceiling penetrations and simplifying waterproofing and fire stopping in the slab
  • Warm Atrium Tone: 2700K output with CRI above 90 warms stone and timber surfaces in a large volume, where cooler lighting makes an atrium feel institutional

Applications

Specified for hotel atria, grand foyers, ballroom pre function areas and resort lobbies where a warm cluster suits the architecture better than a crystal chandelier. The shared canopy ring also suits listed buildings where ceiling penetrations are restricted. Restaurants with tall volumes use smaller clusters above open staircases, and residential double height voids use six to ten elements to bring the same effect into a domestic scale.

Customization Process

We work from the atrium section and plan, then produce a cloud layout with element positions, drop heights and cable lengths. Custom options include a two tone brass and black scheme, a smaller cluster for pre function areas, DALI zoning for evening scenes, and a lowering system where cleaning access is limited.

Packaging and Quality Assurance

Elements ship in individual foam lined cartons with the diffuser fitted and protected. The canopy ring and grippers travel in a labelled crate with the layout drawing and a cable length schedule. Each element is numbered to the drawing, and cartons are sized for goods lifts and service corridors.

Service and Delivery

Lead time is 28 to 38 days after layout approval, with staged delivery for phased hotel openings. Element spares at two percent, drivers stocked for five years, and commissioning guidance for scene setting. Brass touch up materials are supplied for the maintenance team, and production files are kept for five years for extensions.
