A grand foyer chandelier is a structural decision as much as a decorative one: at three metres diameter the fixture is a load on the building, and the project stalls if the lighting supplier cannot produce a weight statement an engineer will accept. This tiered prism chandelier is supplied with a load package per tier, a suspension layout with anchor details, and a sectional build that passes through standard service lifts. The prism cut crystal throws controlled light patterns onto the foyer ceiling rather than scattering in every direction, which is what gives an entrance hall a sense of ceremony without extra fixtures. Circuits are grouped by tier so the building can run the upper tiers as ambient light during the day and the full array for evening arrivals, and the drop is adjustable on site within a defined range to absorb as built differences.

Specified for hotel foyers, corporate entrance atriums, casino foyers and cultural building lobbies with ceilings above five metres. The tiered structure suits spaces viewed from galleries and mezzanine levels, and the prism geometry is particularly effective in long rectangular foyers where light patterns read clearly from the entrance doors.

We model the fixture against the foyer section and slab information, then issue a shop drawing, weight statement and anchor layout for approval. Options include a four tier build, amber or champagne crystal, uplighting for wall washing, a hoist ready frame for venues that lower fixtures for cleaning, and DMX dimming for building scenes.

Tiers travel as pre hung sections on a steel reinforced skid with crystal in padded trays labelled by tier. Bolts, pins and lock wire are packed in a labelled hardware box matched to the drawing. Each skid carries weight, centre of gravity and lifting point markings.

Lead time is 30 to 40 days after approval, with staged delivery for phased handover. A pre installation rigging review, eight percent crystal allowance and five year production file retention are included, and replacement sections can be produced to match within three years.
