Large Crystal Pendant Fixture Ballroom Chandelier Multi Tier Prism Design Grand Banquet Hall

This large crystal pendant fixture uses prism cut drops arranged in four concentric tiers, a geometry that throws controlled light patterns onto the ceiling and walls instead of scattering it in every direction. Prism cutting is more expensive per kilogram than standard faceted crystal, but in a grand banquet hall the result is visible from the back of the room: defined sparkle at eye level and a soft rose pattern above the fixture. The frame is a welded steel core clad in brass tube, which keeps a three metre diameter within the load capacity of most hotel ceiling grids. Each tier is pre hung and tested in our workshop, then split into two transport halves so it can pass through standard freight doors without specialised lifting gear.

Designed for grand banquet halls, hotel ballrooms, convention gala rooms and wedding venues with ceilings above five metres. The prism geometry is particularly effective in long rectangular halls, where controlled light patterns read clearly from distant tables. The same frame family is used in  function rooms, exhibition opening halls and large church interiors, and can be specified with an uplight ring where wall washing is required behind the top table.

We begin with the hall plan, ceiling height and structural grid, then propose tier diameters and crystal density within the venue load limits. A shop drawing and weight statement are issued for structural approval. Custom options include amber or smoke crystal for warmer venues, a two tone frame finish, integrated uplighting for wall washing, and a hoist frame for venues that raise and lower the fixture between events.

Tiers travel as pre hung halves on a steel reinforced skid, with crystal protected by padded dividers and removable film on the brass surfaces. Hardware is packed in a labelled box matching the assembly drawing, and each skid is marked with weight, centre of gravity and tier number. An illustrated assembly manual and a spare parts list accompany every shipment.

Lead time is 32 to 42 days after drawing approval, with staged delivery available for phased venue openings. We provide a pre installation rigging review, include an eight percent crystal spare allowance, and hold production records for five years so matching fixtures can be built for extensions. Bulky orders can ship on consolidated pallets to reduce freight cost.
